Klaipeda to host seminar on doing business in Belarus

On 24 January Klaipeda is expected to play host to a seminar “Belarus: Development Prospects and Search for Business Contacts” in order to attract Lithuanian business to Belarus and develop business contacts between entrepreneurs of the two countries, BelTA learnt from the Embassy of Belarus to Lithuania.

The seminar will be held as part of the preparations for the 9th International Belarus-Lithuania Economic Forum and the 16th meeting of the Belarusian-Lithuanian commission for trade and economic cooperation slated for 18-19 April.

The event is organized by the Embassy of Belarus in Lithuania and the Klaipeda Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Crafts under the auspices of the Foreign Ministry of Lithuania.

Belarus Ambassador Vladimir Drazhin is expected to present his report “Doing business in the Republic of Belarus. Belarus-Lithuania. The state and prospects of strategic partnership in the economic sector”. Lithuanian participants will present reports “Transport and Logistics – Belarus-Lithuania Cooperation Prospects” and “Business Development Opportunities in Belarus”. Invited to take part in the seminar are Klaipeda businessmen.
